Surely you, dear reader, believe in the existence of supernatural beings, a collection of immortal characters, mostly invisible and incorporeal sometimes, playing with destiny of us mortals. From our human point of view, these beings suffer continuously joy and anger, can be dangerous and even vindictive, but also helpful or benevolent.
Not all cultures handle the same narrative in this collection of beings (Pantheon), we have the example of Greek mythology where the gods have a very particular dynamic that would seem a modern comedy. Also see fights and betting between them, as is the case with the narrative of Job, where Yahweh and Satan come to an agreement and the former allows the latter destroys the life of Job, wrecking their heritage, sickening and killing his family .
Job For, apart from the terrible game, we noticed that among these beings maintain good communication with each other, negotiate and beyond their individual battles eternal reach concrete agreements. And above all, one (Yahweh) that gives permission to another (Satan), there is a hierarchy according to the cosmic administration, but especially human administration, for his usual occupation, his or her game pieces main customers are us.
Any business goes bankrupt, but customers come in the absence of humans, or subversive leadership of such organizations would not make sense to some extent prisoners of our existence, a computer virus does not work without a computer, not if off, or using another software.
Mythologies are issues mentalities, Christians are disturbed that little draw Allah prohibits the figure of an animal or human, much less care about the opinions of Shiva as not to be worshiped, even in these times of religious openness and diversity of thought , we see in our own society attitudes are opposed. In an accident a Catholic is willing to a blood transfusion as a Jehovah's Witness would deny, as interpreted from the prohibitions that the Witnesses are the holy book.
Actually these supernatural beings are units comprising belief systems, ideologies and worldviews, personify our individual and collective morale, gives meaning to our social organization, basing our social roles. Edward Tylor would say, are "embodied our causes."
